The power of words is very profound. Clearly what Jamie Foxx said created discussion, passion and interest. Think beyond the words that come out of his mouth. What is is motive? Fame? Ratings? He is a successful comedian just like all the past great comedian. Most of them were not polite and pretty with thier material. It is his job. He has to keep his show going so if it means people being thrown under the bus then I guess it is bound to happen. Clearly he is doing his job... People are talking, discussing and passitonate. I am sure it is nothing personal. Word of advice to many. If Jamie Foxx offends you, then don't listen. Do we remember Howard Stern?
Oh, and as for Miley Cyrus I am sure she will be survive this comment- She will endure many comments throughout her life; it is the price of fame!!

There comes a point with even comedians where it goes past funny and crosses the line - this certainly did just that. Hell, i'm not a miley fan myself but shes still a human, not some "untouchable". I'm sure these words have affected her greatly and hurts just as much as if anyone said those hurtful things to you. Let's look at this in the proper light, Miley Cyrus threatens to ruin Radiohead after insulting the group and tell all her friends and makes her threat public on radio. I suppose when you have a personal relationship with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck you're the Queen of the Entertainment Industry. Radiohead responds to her threat with the commentary that when she "grows up, she'll learn not to have a sense of entitlement". Miley's head was getting too big and she needed to be brought back to reality.

At the Foxxhole a caller brings up the subject of Miley's threat and insult and Jamie Foxx says "who is Miley Cyrus?". Jamie Foxx is an established actor and commedian. One can interpret that comment to mean who is she in terms of celebrity status, minor leagues compared to major leagues because later on the comment is made "so we can start respecting you as an artist" from one of the people in the Foxxhole. He's sticking up for Radiohead as anyone with a brain should. Doesn't matter who you are and if you have the power to do so or not, you shouldn't threaten to "ruin" another person especially considering how hard Radiohead has worked to get where they are. Considering how long Radiohead has been around she wants to ruin them now? And for what reason, because she couldn't meet them as to her likings? Rejection happens, accept that not everyone's going to accept you. "She's going to ruin Radiohead's career?! The same Radiohead that gets $1,000,000 just to sample their songs?!"

The female on the radio show then comments for Miley to make a sex tape. The Comedian/Actor then comments to that "Yeah, make a sex tape and grow up! Get like Brittany Spears and do some heroine! Do like Lindsay Lohan and start seeing a lesbian and get some crack in your pipe!". The female on his show then adds "..so we can start respecting you as an artist".

Now being a comedian, their job is the make sarcastic comments at people and usually there is an underlying tone to what they're saying. Any intelligent person can draw the connection in what Jamie Foxx and his associates are saying. What's the connection between Brittany Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Miley Cyrus? A founding Disney Career. Miley doesn't write her own songs and gets her voice altered in a recording studio to sell. She's a very minor league artist compared to the pros we have out there in the real entertainment industry. Sooner or later her marketing age group is going to grow up and she'll have to become a real artist/actress or find a new profession. Let's look at the path her Disney predecessors have taken, Brittany Spears and Lindsay Lohan upon coming out into the real entertainment industry-- an industry which by the way makes it money bombarding the teen and young adult generation of America with sexual themes in order to make more profit. Then again Jamie Foxx had already mentioned it in his puns anyway? Lindsay got caught with cocaine and alcohol didn't she and Brittany is every little girls role-model parents approve is isn't she (that's sarcasm for the brain dead and informed). When Miley is too old for Disney what do you think she's going to do? She's either going to have to get into Christian Music or join the sex-sells mindset and possibly follow very slutty path like many in the real entertainment industry does. What is often shown in pop music videos and billboards anyway? A bombardment of sexual images.

"Oh, but not our Miley. She's a good girl and will stay that way." There are many temptations in the entertainment industry, she's already had tastes of that, a Vanity Fair photograph of her to name one. When she stops holding on to Mickey's and Donald's hand and gets into the real world, we'll see what kind of person she turns into.

And for the record, Jamie Foxx did not say that she "should make a sex tape with her daddy". You're misinforming people. The "...with her daddy" was added onto by the female on the show. Don't try to stretch the truth to make Jamie look bad, nothing he said was wrong or out of hand, people are blowing it out of proportion and making this more than it is (because they need to point the finger at someone else to compensate for their own issues in life). Jamie Foxx said "Yeah, make a sex tape and grow up!", not "make a sex tape with your Daddy and grow up!".

As for Jamie's public apology for what he said on the radio, I don't accept his apology because the man has nothing to apologize for. He's a comedian and actor. If you don't find him funny then you just have a different sense of humor than those that did. This happens for many comedians, some people find them fun and others don't. But anyone with insight into the character of Miley Cyrus and her actions should be able to understand where Jamie Foxx and the others on his show are coming from. They only thing they can be charged with is being pessimistic about the future public image Miley Cyrus will stay when she's not in Disneyland anymore. And with what Brittany and Lindsay have done who wouldn't be at least a little skeptical of Miley. And we all should know how the major entertainment industries run their business and make their money. Jamie Foxx, you're a skeptic and a comedian. That's all that should be said about him. Everyone else is just being idiotic by making the issue more than it is.

Majority of the people who are defending Miley are saying this is 'down right rude' or whatever but the chances of them saying something worse about someone else are huge!

This was a joke to them.. imagine if they were serious. It wouldn't have been professional if they were doing it seriously and thought she had a real problem.
