Something like this happened to me last week. Granted, it involved a knife and some stupid teenage boys, but someone said, well everyone else was laughing about it. She might not like what was said, but that is part of the business. It doesn't matter what age she is, everyone and their mother is free to criticism and name calling.

Jamie Foxx is a comedian and that is what comedians do. If people don't like it then fine, you can't please everyone even with an apology.

People say a lot worse stuff about her everyday, and I don't think it's fair that he's the only one who has to publicly apologise just because he's a celebrity. He's still a person and just because he's famous and a lot of people heard what he said doesn't mean he has to recant because he hurt a girl's feelings. He's a comedian and a lot of other comedians say a lot of other stuff about a lot of other people. And even if wasn't a comedian, he's a person, and like it or not, that's what people are going to do. And Americans have a right to free speech. And if he had to apologise for what he said about her, I think she should apologise for what she said about radiohead. Sure, she may not have used profanity (becuase she's sooo perfect), but I'm sure Radiohead still found it just as offensive as she felt about what Jamie said

that was horrible and so unprofessional, as well as just terrible, coming from a FATHER non the less. i could not stand hearing that. everyone from that show needs to apologize, and that was not SINCERE, that was just an apology. I hardly think that was even appropriate, as if the apology is for jay leno? no. go to her face, and her father's since they mentioned him too, and btw, we dont need to see the apology, its nothing public- he was trashing her, not us.

I don't really think he meant it. It was nice that he did apologize for it but I don't think he should have said it in the first place considering he does have a daughter of his own. If someone said that to his daughter he would be upset. Personal in my opinion he should have just kept it to himself. What he said was uncalled for. 1). If Miley was black and he was white, it wouldn't just be an argument over him telling a minor to do drugs etc. , it would be a race argument. (calling her a white bitch for instance)

2). He is not funny. "Can I keep my comedic licence?" Um, yeah - you're really not funny, dude.

I believe he was sincere, I don't think he meant to be malicious. I don't think Comedians should have to apologize for 99% of what they joke about, but kids should be off limits. When she's 18 he can rip at her all he wants and anyone else for that matter. However, if the people that were outraged hadn't spread it all over the internet Miley may have never heard about it in the first place, so who is really to blame?
